The date for the continuation of the Inuyasha anime series have been announced! Known as Inuyasha Kanketsuhen [犬夜叉 完結編] (Inuyasha the Final Act), the new series will cover from volume 36 till the ending of the manga. On the Kantou area it will be broadcasted on Nippon Television every Saturday starting on October 3rd, 2009 late at night. On the Kansai area it will be aired every Monday starting on October 5th on Yomiuri Television.

The opening theme will be performed by Do As Infinity who sang the previous ending themes (Fukai Mori and Shinjitsu no Uta), and the ending will be performed by AAA [Triple A].

The japanese voice actor for Inuyasha, Yamaguchi Kappei, will be a guest at this year's Otakon (August 8th - 10th, 2008) at Baltimore Convention Center in Maryland. We are sending Rosal, one of our staff members, and hopefully she will have the chance to ask him some questions at his panel. So we thought it would be cool to take questions from you guys and see if she has the chance to ask Yamaguchi a couple of them at the convention.

As many of you probably know, after 12 years, the Inuyasha manga will finally come to an end. The last chapter will be released, Wednesday Jun 18, 2008 in Japan.

So for those of you who have gotten behind on your Inuyasha reading, there is not a more perfect time to pick up your Inuyasha mangas and get current to read the last episode tomorrow!
